Saw a much smaller, much more subdued version of this show at the Austrian Cultural Center for free with free Bauer ( I kid you not) Vetliner. After said show, I then saw HIM walk into the Burger Joint at Le Parker Meridian. I was happily finishing my snack, but HE was turned away due to it being "closing time." Merde. This is one of the many, many reasons that I still heart NY. dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-35910623700823593322010-02-14T15:57:00.000-08:002010-02-14T16:06:30.115-08:00Sunday Service<a name='more'></a>Brilliant<a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/jarviscocker/"> Jarvis Cocker </a>had made me look forward to Sundays. More winter to come, according to that nasty little furball named Phil. This is the time of year I dread the most, so things like<a href="http://www.rosewoodmayakoba.com/en/index.cfm"> this</a> tend to clutter my mind. And then I start listening to things like <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tayaLb18Q7w&feature=related">this. </a><br /><br />Now that I finally signed on to Netflix, I can make it all better by renting movies like this:<br /><br /><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/l5H2bzk2zcc&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/l5H2bzk2zcc&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425"></embed></object><br /><br /><br /><br />Thanks, Mr. Weber.dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-72916480284245408192010-02-01T19:28:00.000-08:002010-02-01T19:38:43.678-08:00Rock Opera<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNmG8mwFFOnLy6TVeC00avRbQlxxMG5pVrBTFNDdvu_5QXzoCN5kagufEQhSMzMu_WMo3hHTO4zdbHz4nP-flftZjSa_2OiYjBiwzTiMT_jO55Y2f_3SpMbufBwy_o2YLBMmwLXE1FuAS8/s1600-h/tomorrowinayear_press2_NEW1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNmG8mwFFOnLy6TVeC00avRbQlxxMG5pVrBTFNDdvu_5QXzoCN5kagufEQhSMzMu_WMo3hHTO4zdbHz4nP-flftZjSa_2OiYjBiwzTiMT_jO55Y2f_3SpMbufBwy_o2YLBMmwLXE1FuAS8/s400/tomorrowinayear_press2_NEW1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433484003942578050" border="0" /></a><br />The Knife have a new album due in March, take a look <a href="http://http//theknife.net/tommorow-in-a-year-information.html">here </a> for more information.dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-79933857553014826012010-01-28T17:38:00.000-08:002010-01-28T17:50:10.364-08:00SundancingWhen I discover something that sparks my creative interest, I tend to get a bit OCD about about it. It is pretty brilliant, as far as commercial cartoons mixing with fashion shows go.<br /><br /><object height="340" width="560"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OoiW5-uA3_E&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OoiW5-uA3_E&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="340" width="560"></embed></object><br /><br />Also, take a look at this clip from Mr. Shrigley as he talks about his work from a show at London's ICA. Which, side note, may be closing it's hallowed halls come May due to financial dire straights. What a loss, as this place is a cultural mecca.<br /><br />Take a look at his other videos, books, and projects here.<br /><br />I am making horrible moodboards with stick figure creatures for motion shoots these days , abd he is surely my inspiration. I will also need some drawring lessons from Simon.<br /><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XC6CVGAeJic&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XC6CVGAeJic&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425"></embed></object>dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-75362284024653733392010-01-21T18:17:00.000-08:002010-01-21T18:20:43.089-08:00PostPostSecretMy friend told me about this print exchange program and I think it's a pretty great idea.<br /><br />Take a look at this site, <a href="http://filmporvida.blogspot.com/">filmporvida.</a><br /><br />I think I need to get involved in this postal whoohaa.<br /><br />Thanks to Mr. Hunt.dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-72815103616661053652010-01-21T18:02:00.000-08:002010-01-21T18:13:46.981-08:00iMade an iMovieAs you can tell, dear reader, I am very interested in most things to do with movies as of late. And since it's part of what I do for a living, there is no time like the present to teach an old dog some new tricks.<br /><br />Speaking of work, we just <span style="font-style: italic;">had</span> to enter an internal New Year's Resolution Creative Content Contest. Woof. If I take first place, I can win tickets to a Broadway Show ! Or, second place would grant me a bottle of Champers. I'd settle for the Champers. Since I took a video class at ICP this past fall with Final Cut Pro, I decided to cobble something together in iMovie.... based on my Epic Ski Adventure of 2009. Mais Oui.<br /><br />And it goes a little something like this:<br /><br /><br /><br /><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dxKRJZ6HaimNH5ogfjZWh9yNG3ucyz_ftbB-iANIiXj3mcdzl5QBKCgYW1kKYirKPkXSJYWoxgYFrlVaITYfQ' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br /><br /><br />Now, I know that Mr. White technically shreds the nar nar, but whatever. I had a deadline to meet. I like my movie.<br /><br />FIN.dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-45981630982639674052010-01-18T19:52:00.000-08:002010-01-18T20:49:52.712-08:00More Scary Home MoviesThis is my " EPIC Winter of 2009" edition of what I like to call motion picture making gone wrong. I'd like to thanks the girls of Ginabelle 12 , as well as the lads at the Horse & Groom, for making all of this magic happen.<br /><br />I really need to make this into a proper montage via the small wonder that is iMovie. Until I perfect my film editing skills, this will <span style="font-style: italic;">just </span>have to do.<br /><br />Note that all of these "pictures" were taken at night. Which means they are all pretty, pretty dark...leaves more to the imagination. Such as, did she take the lens cap off? Yes, yes I did. This is <span style="font-style: italic;">not </span>PHOTO 101, this is VIDEO 101. And I got by with a little help from my friends.<br /><br />For example:<br /><br />This is what happens when you think you are taking a picture of your friends, but in reality, you are making a movie, and then try to take a self portrait of you and your other pals. This move happened quite alot.<br /><br /><br /><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dxcoisXt_DE3QXnrgBajKzP3C53lY0BipIMReCBKkwFI3zBSS4mWuytQnkaZkeEHHz-Sygg9zl4fZHGufidgA' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br /><br />This is what happens during a very long drive from Calais to Chamonix ( la voiture = France, mais oui) when you are trying to stay awake behind the wheel.<br /><br /><br /><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dzwWcyX4Qpl66ex1YzDFA39rgObOrxOX3p2hzGoiZ7Mc4HVg8701dmjo5MN-5iIhHc9p-l1xUiczScTFtdGzw' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br /><br />This is what happens when you teach someone how to make scary home music videos.Hilarity ensues.<br /><br /><br /><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dweO5Ia9I0d8umTLkJnRk1kDaDgl3cQzdFh7ZinguQjOp4Id2OcnfMHa443kcBWeWoWvUj6bOggvVmAAlu9' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe>dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-16160667284964974902010-01-03T19:02:00.000-08:002010-01-03T20:36:34.884-08:00Scary Home MoviesAs some of you may or may not know, I went to Chamonix in December before the holidays for a little winter adventure. It turned out to be a very large adventure, but that is another story in and of itself. But as for the alps, the whole area is breathtakingly gorgeous, and I highly recommend it. It is so choice. <span style="font-style: italic;">P</span><span style="font-style: italic;">erhaps</span> not so much for a ski novice like myself. In fact, I only had about a half day on the slopes, and that was much too much for me. I kind of thought the end was neigh for me at one point. How would get down? This whole "ski" thing was not working out, so I just figured I would take the chairlift back down to the base in reverse. Et voila! FIN. Of course, this does not typically happen, so we had to ask the "big boss". We were told to act injured, as my friend did have a broken pole with her. All of this from me pleading for help with some young ski guards in broken french to their broken english. Zut Alors. The trail sign read (en francais, mais oui) "Avalanche" ( ????!!??? ) with a threat of possible white out conditions . For crying out loud, yes, we were injured. Regardless, this was a typical day for everyone on the slopes. For everyone other than me, you see. I did get back down, eventually, and all in one piece. And thankfully, my lovely friends were very kind to teach me how to "ski" ( or, fall) down this rather LARGE and steep slope, otherwise knows as Le Brevent. Besides the fear and adrenaline rush that came with facing my own demise (okay, maybe it wasn't that bad), it was absolutely worth every minute of it.<br /><br />Here are some visuals to help illustrate my downhill adventures.<br /><br />Before: Excited for our adventure!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9bWTY5tD6ymXP3VZl1JuYv47BXPh0Gw2bYqk4AViJQulrjDvss0FwQ03k1BHi8gTNLWx1ZOkE0xcFWEp16IvdZp2uQCjlMCUP3xaFiWzFf5rQDnFYCrESe5EZuDsChb59_X29quifWB6b/s1600-h/P1150222.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 353px; height: 265px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9bWTY5tD6ymXP3VZl1JuYv47BXPh0Gw2bYqk4AViJQulrjDvss0FwQ03k1BHi8gTNLWx1ZOkE0xcFWEp16IvdZp2uQCjlMCUP3xaFiWzFf5rQDnFYCrESe5EZuDsChb59_X29quifWB6b/s400/P1150222.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5422730440443301522" border="0" /></a><br /><br />During: This part was painfully neglected , was I was too busy falling down some place up here.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlnvNmvVFyf6ZZuNKIwmDU223BEzY7TNhKSzqe6XQ4gN0iI7lxx7WtA4x3VayHc138s30xQ8XAxL927wXc124FppwU6XIeIKZPz7yi38eLXCwMIMz5KVQg6shDGAchWGPYRkuTNisjdO9/s1600-h/P1150227.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlnvNmvVFyf6ZZuNKIwmDU223BEzY7TNhKSzqe6XQ4gN0iI7lxx7WtA4x3VayHc138s30xQ8XAxL927wXc124FppwU6XIeIKZPz7yi38eLXCwMIMz5KVQg6shDGAchWGPYRkuTNisjdO9/s400/P1150227.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5422731457782843618" border="0" /></a><br /><img src="file:///Users/dawn/Desktop/P1150227.JPG" alt="" />After: The Return from Witch Mountain ( Le Brevent).<br /><br /><br /><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dw0j9sa-Ouovaai__xaG-rupXlrck-yMBTiYz1GVg05ediwZr1dd4vSr_QaMQxm7bpmCOpWxdtcocG113z54w' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br /><br /><br />Closing Ceremony: D & L's Special Olympics!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKe5CocRjuiTgZ-gWvG93XXcdfal-JMoFleVv88Cc4Ix79cXhjPoxgOzwzcQ1dskvh6w3Zojj0kF42PgYXhIpy_XTjRxaIEKpAVuepYtA2YHqh_5FW1qc7vqVo9SQj5ede5Ub3PyhHPWYz/s1600-h/P1150232.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKe5CocRjuiTgZ-gWvG93XXcdfal-JMoFleVv88Cc4Ix79cXhjPoxgOzwzcQ1dskvh6w3Zojj0kF42PgYXhIpy_XTjRxaIEKpAVuepYtA2YHqh_5FW1qc7vqVo9SQj5ede5Ub3PyhHPWYz/s400/P1150232.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5422732231037294770" border="0" /></a><br />Here I am pointing to the exact spot where I almost broke both kneecaps after throwing myself off of the ski lift. No matter how many stuffed dolphins, whales, or harp seals that I had piled on my bed, fate had other ideas for my future career path. It finally hit home that I would <span style="font-style: italic;">not</span> make it on board the Calypso for the next Cousteau expedition once I got to high school. Several guidance counselors kindly informed me that my lackluster science and math grades would not get me past giving tours at Seaworld, or watching Flipper reruns. I was devastated, but moved right along to selecting Art History as my major. I would have to keep poking jellyfish and<a href="http://http//www.arkive.org/horseshoe-crab/limulus-polyphemus/"> horseshoe crabs</a> at the jersey shore with sticks, just like I did on every other summer vacation.<br /><br />Regardless, my never ending love of creatures, cuddly or not, has always stayed with me. So, dear reader, it is my extreme pleasure to share this new BBC creation with you.<br /><a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/wildlifefinder/"><br />http://www.bbc.co.uk/wildlifefinder/</a><br /><br />They also have this <a href="http://http//www.bbc.co.uk/earthexplorers/">Earth Explorers </a>website, "wildlife stories from programme makers on location." Sign me up. I may have found my new career path. For example, you can follow the work of marine biologist Elizabeth White, as she documents the life of "polar people." Brrrilliant.<br /><br />I admire the BBC & the rest of the Brits for their never ending insight to wildlife. I have a special Big Garden Bird Watch supplement written by <a href="http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Moss">Stephen Moss</a> from the Guardian newspaper plastered to my fridge, which is entitled, "Is that a sparrow or a rose- winged parakeet?" Nerd Alert. I am already planning to become a member of the Audubon Society once I turn 50. But not right now.<br /><br />What with all the birdwatching, and polar explorations on the Discovery Networks that keep my interest on a regular basis, ( and I do love SharkWeek) , I must admit that Cousteau still has my heart.<br /><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6Zsf52C8aJA&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6Zsf52C8aJA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-51111350092977342212010-01-02T10:56:00.000-08:002010-01-02T11:30:10.804-08:00The Mummers<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig17faIfQSNhEKcDSdzuciDw1Idzabp0cjYg3ecJ7cttFoxupDsqRpf5l2SOj8Lm4gN8YetvUfbyAthHvi6r4_IjWxrWru4WfpXcpHjGw4VTn65UjzlYYwI6XkBeuJnqqOGK-QQX9lSZif/s1600-h/STMW22-2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEig17faIfQSNhEKcDSdzuciDw1Idzabp0cjYg3ecJ7cttFoxupDsqRpf5l2SOj8Lm4gN8YetvUfbyAthHvi6r4_IjWxrWru4WfpXcpHjGw4VTn65UjzlYYwI6XkBeuJnqqOGK-QQX9lSZif/s400/STMW22-2.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5422226646360637906" /></a><br />For those of you who are not from the Greater Philadelphia area, I wanted to share a local custom with you: the Mummers. Not for the faint of heart, this is a very drunken parade of costumed men playing instruments while strutting down the streets of the city every New Year's Day.<div><br /></div><div>My dad and his family would go , since they lived there around the 1940s. We never went, nor did I ever really have an interest, besides the 5 minutes of the parade I would stomach every year on Channel 6. No thanks. Besides the stunning banjo/mumming performance from one of the teachers at the Shawnee High School pep rally, I plan to <i>never</i> witness this event with my own eyes. </div><div><br /></div><div>There is, however, an entire <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8YuiUJ6ilg">museum</a> devoted to these brave men dressed in fancy pants, literally, and the origins of mumming. This is a curious piece of Philadelphia history that I still want to see, but not the drunken fools that congregate there during the Mummers awards ceremony held in front of the museum every New Years. I liken it to Mardi Gras, and so does everyone else, apparently. Most New Yorkers would never understand, except maybe with the exception of the beerfest that is the St. Patrick's Day Parade, or the World Series Parade for the Yankees. No thanks , yet again. </div><div><br /></div><div>So, here is a clip of this year's winners. Notice the strong Philly accent from the commentators play by play. You can tell they are Mummers fans<i> for life.</i></div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" white-space: pre; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10px;"><object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KeZSM5e9WdU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KeZSM5e9WdU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object></span></div><div><div><br /></div><div>But I suppose as with all traditions, this parade is losing it's funding. And look! The Bacon Brothers wrote a<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCM7SN8jht8"> song</a> about the Mummers! There is a <a href="http://www.savethemummers.com/">website</a> to join so you too can preserve the sanctity of strutting! This<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbtCBpN_Zr4"> clip</a> shows a parade from around the 1930s or so, and it looks like it was much more civilized fun then. Still slightly curious, but fun. </div><div><br /></div><div> Now go on, go get a hoagie from Wawa, and call it a day. </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div>dawn bauerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09709032364325501781noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5492264868438102202.post-53823000153228966532010-01-01T17:23:00.000-08:002010-01-01T20:05:42.100-08:00Peace, Love & Harmony?Yes, it's that time again: Happy New Year, dear reader. Y2K was ten years ago? Really? I must admit, I was convinced the world would end at the strike of midnight on December 31, 1999. It did not, thank God. But things did get a bit harried later on, in one way or another.<br /><br />I'll spare you the countless "remember when?" moments of the past ten years. Let's just say that this was the decade in which I became an official New Yorker, and am all the wiser for it. I ended the past ten years with a string of adventures that made me want to keep my wanderlust going strong. That, dear reader, is my New Year's resolution: screw the gym, I'd rather be traveling. But wait, there's more: blog instead of Facebook. Help those in need. And... okay , I<span style="font-style: italic;"> do</span> have to go to the gym.<br /><br />I did have a strong desire to make my own "best of " list , what with all the reminiscing going on in the media. Least favorite world event? 9/11. Favorite phrase of the decade? Truthiness. I could go on. Then a music guru friend from college suggested "10 Best Albums of the Decade. " Too time consuming, but very intriguing , and to be continued. In the meantime, I have created my Top 20 Singles of 2009. In no particular order, here they are:<br /><br /><br />"what would i want? sky" - animal collective TIE " my girls" animal collective<br />"s'vive"-bibio<br />"dominos"-the big pink<br />"a change of heart"-el perro del mar<br />"daniel"-bat for lashes<br />"the reeling"-passion pit<br />"horchata"-vampire weekend (is this an early release? possible cheating)<br />"1901"-phoenix<br />"let's go surfing"-the drums<br />"new theory"-washed out<br />"crystalised"-the xx<br />"goth star"-pictureplane<br />"ready"-grizzly bear / "southern point" -grizzly bear<br />"my maudlin career"-camera obscura<br />"magpie to the morning"-neko case<br />"zero" -yeah yeah yeahs<br />"vivid youth"-the pastels/tenniscoats<br />"something is squeezing my skull"-morrissey<br />"triangle walks"-fever ray<br />"norway"-beach house (more possible early release cheating)<br /><br />So, no more lists, and no more fact checking of dates. I'll just end with a video highlight of my year.<br /><br />Shaking hands with Morrissey : Carnegie Hall, March 26, 2009(a.k.a my birthday ). With a very special thanks to Liz.<br /><br />Happy 2010.<br /><div><object height="322" width="512"><param name="movie" value="http://d.yimg.com/static.video.yahoo.com/yep/YV_YEP.swf?ver=2.2.46"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="AllowScriptAccess" value="always"><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"><param name="flashVars" value="id=12694761&vid=4753241&lang=en-us&intl=us&thumbUrl=http%3A//l.yimg.com/a/p/i/bcst/videosearch/8051/82617794.jpeg&embed=1"><embed src="http://d.yimg.com/static.video.yahoo.com/yep/YV_YEP.swf?ver=2.2.46" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" bgcolor="#000000" flashvars="id=12694761&vid=4753241&lang=en-us&intl=us&thumbUrl=http%3A//l.yimg.com/a/p/i/bcst/videosearch/8051/82617794.jpeg&embed=1" height="322" width="512"></embed></object><br /><a href="http://video.yahoo.com/watch/4753241/12694761">Morrissey - HOW SOON IS NOW - New York City - 3/26/09</a> @ <a href="http://video.yahoo.com/">Yahoo! Although, I can't say this even comes close to a real live visit to your local fine art institution.
