Interactive Light Display of the Day
I'm not sure if this counts, but it is something that I want to start on the bloggy blog here. So here we have ILD of the Day. ILD will be a similar post to my previous focus, the Picture of the Day blog-stallment. ( Good Grief, what is it about the term "blog" that makes people want to make new words with "blog" as the suffix/prefix/whatchamacallit? )
It all started with Bruce Nauman in college, and it has stayed with me ever since. I love light. Light and color. The physics & design of this media just fascinates me. Now, I *admit* to finding this from a Philadelphia based retail chain store window, not a gallery window. This is low brow art. Feh. No matter, the idea still caught my eye. Said chain shall remain unnamed. I promise you it's not Wal-Mart, obviously.
Oh, and it may not really be that interactive. BUT! This art project came to be whenever random folks submit what ever messages they wanted to the art collective , who then put the words up in this blinking marquee in the shop window. So, I guess that counts after all.
