Where have I been? Sometimes, a few years behind. Or so it seems. I have to *admit* that I now like Kings of Leon. I simply blew them off as being just another loudish boy rock band when I heard them years ago. A dime a dozen. Feh.
Then I took a closer listen. Then I found out they were sons of a southern preacher. Then I heard the new album. Then I saw this interview. Now, note that the man behind the camera is LAME. But when some preacher's kids actually explain how they had to attend religious camps & then name the album after that camp... well, it makes me like them even more. Let's just say.... I can relate. And now I am waiting to see if I am lucky enough to get a sold out ticket to their NY show. So as myself, my sister , and of course Ms. A. Macklin, along with the other reformed daughters of the church (of music) often say, Praise!
