Never Ending

My constant battle continues against my hood getting better & more attractive to other non-child bearing folks my age. But with a new gallery and now an even newer music hall ( eugene murman! ac newman! ) within walking distance ALONG with the Yard... what's  next? This place!!!! Crikey.

This place also made the newness radar.  Perfect for those locals who still celebrate with hedge fund bonus checks these days. Right.  A "Whiskey Bar" ? BBQ?  From the fancy decor I saw in the window, Fette Sau this ain't.  We just got a fancy place for fancy drinks with pressed cheesteaks ( !!!)  one block away. What I really need is that Trader Joe's, and fast. 

 As for me, I just want to snorkle in the Gowanus one day & not turn into a glowing green critter. So get it together, Bloomie!
